Updates planned to ISO standards

ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 are currently going through review, please see below for the current timelines for finalization and implementation. We are monitoring the proposed changes to the standards and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

ISO 14001 (Environmental)

The current issue of ISO 14001 was released in 2015, the timeline for implementation of the latest review is as follows:

UKAS CertCheck Database

Lift Cert Ltd is currently working with UKAS to meet the May 2022 timeline for delivery of a searchable database of certificates issued for Management Systems. This will allow interested parties to confirm the validity of our clients certifications.

We will shortly be sending a notification to our impacted clients to confirm which details will be shared with UKAS and to identify any concerns they have with this.

UKAS Logos

UKAS have recently re-branded their logos and our clients are required to ensure that they have updated websites and stationery within the following timescales:

  • Digital Materials – 1 year from launch (1st February 2022)
  • Printed Materials – 2 years from launch (1st February 2023)
  • Certificates – 3 years from launch (1st February 2024)

Lift Cert Ltd has contacted impacted clients, but if you have further queries please contact us as we can provide you with the relevant new logos for your current accreditation(s).

COVID-19

Lift Cert Ltd is aware of the continuing situation regarding the effects of the above outbreak and we want to assure our Staff, Associates and Clients that the Health & Safety and wellbeing  of everyone is uppermost.   We are continuing to utilise remote auditing for all clients. Site visits will be carried out as possible within COVID guidelines.

Our Staff and Associates are aware that if they develop symptoms they are required to initially self-isolate for seven days (or in accordance with the current HM Government & NHS Guidelines) and keep us informed of developments.
